Harper's Bazaar appoints new editor-in-chief

SPH Magazines and Hearst Magazines International have announced the appointment of Kenneth Goh as editor-in-chief of the Singapore edition of Harper’s Bazaar. Current editor-in-chief Lauren Clarke Jensen will be moving back to New York with her family after three years in the role.Goh (pictured) has been with the high-fashion title for the past 10 years, effectively fulfilling roles from fashion director to most recently, creative director, fashion and beauty. He was responsible for securing some of the most famous figures in the entertainment and fashion industry for covers and spreads for both Harper’s Bazaar Singapore and Malaysia. These include Victoria Beckham, Naomi Campbell, and Christy Turlington.SPHM publishing director, Bridget Hope, said: “Goh was our first choice for the role of editor-in-chief. He has long been the creative force behind the magazine and is one of the few fashion executives who can ensure both deep editorial and commercial relationships. We are confident he will take Harper’s Bazaar Singapore to the next level.”Goh said:  “Together with management, we have exciting plans to continue our growth alongside our important fashion and beauty partners and take Harper’s Bazaar Singapore into a fully integrated online presence."
