Guvera names Asia marketing head

Brand-funded music and entertainment service Guvera has appointed Hazel Savage as head of marketing, Asia.In her new role at Guvera, she is based in Singapore, Guvera's hub in Asia, and helms the company’s key markets across Southeast Asia. Savage  manages a team to maximise brand awareness and users for Guvera in the Southeast Asia region, in areas including acquisitions, digital marketing, events, social media, content, as well as business development and partnerships.A 10-year veteran of the music industry, Savage specialises in music streaming, digital content, tech and social media. Highlights of her career include her time at Shazam Entertainment in London, where she created the Live Lounge, an entirely new branch of the business at that time. On top of solely coordinating the sessions – from bookings with the labels and public relations to on-site recordings, she also managed a team of 20 off-site music reviewers and six external music consultants, amongst other responsibilities.After Shazam, she went on to become online producer and social & content manager at Universal Music in Sydney, Australia, where she project-managed for new business deals, co-branding Universal and Getmusic with external clients such as PayPal and Nandos, with a specific focus on SEO, social strategizing and community management planning.Hazel joins Guvera from Pandora Internet Radio in Australia, where she held the roles of marketing manager and Music Industry relations manager for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), securing strategic new business partnerships with established clients such as Samsung, Sonos and TEDx and handled sponsorships, consumer and trade budgets for ANZ, artist liaison, content creation and more.
