Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has appointed Group M to handle its media buying.
According to sources, a team was put together involving members of the Groum M agencies Maxus, MediaCom and Mindshare. The appointment period is said to be for two years with the option to extend for another.
Group M and MHA did not respond to Marketing‘s queries at the time of writing.
The account was last handled by UM Singapore for six years. MHA has over the past few months launched several campaigns aiming to raise public awareness of scams that are especially prevalent during the festive season.
MHA collaborated with Clear Channel and media agency Universal McCann Singapore to develop three bursts of creative executions at selected bus shelters in Singapore. Meanwhile the Singapore Police Force also launched a campaign warning the public against falling for online love scams with this campaign.
