Globe appoints ex-PT Axis marketing exec as senior advisor

Globe Telecom has hired a new senior advisor for its consumer business group as it expands the role Peter George Bithos.Bithos, now as chief operating advisor, will be succeeded by Daniel James Horan (pictured), the former chief marketing officer of PT Axis in Indonesia.The 15-year telco executive will be supporting the telco’s consumer business group in an advisory capacity while Bithos will handle the broader core consumer business in addition to new businesses in and around the consumer space.Before PT Axis, Horan was the chief commercial officer of Vodafone Qatar and was involved in mobile as well as payTV. Prior to that, Horan served as consumer marketing director at Vodafone Hungary.
