Samsung Malaysia Electronics will launch its flagship device, the Samsung Galaxy Note II, tonight in Kuala Lumpur, with a special appearance by Lithuanian artist, Ernest Zacharevic, popular for transforming the streets of Penang with art murals.

The anticipated event will see the introduction of a new model to Samsung’s existing portfolio of devices such as the Galaxy Note 10.1, Galaxy S III, Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 for businesses today.

Samsung will embark on an integrated marketing plan which includes that will run well into the New Year. While details of the launch are largely under wraps, the company is marketing the new device around the theme of enriched experiences, and inspiring “everyday creativity” and productivity.

The device features a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, a 1.6GHz Quad-Core processor and HSPA Plus to deliver easy multitasking, fast screen transitions and improved browsing performance, as well as app start-ups with minimal lag time.

With this launch, Samsung is also highlighting its partnerships with MobileIron, Juniper, Citrix, Microsoft, Cisco and Fingi to enable enhanced enterprise mobility solutions.
