FutureBrand names key Shanghai and Hong Kong roles

Interpublic Group’s global brand consultancy FutureBrand has promoted Johnson Gu from design director to creative director, Greater China and Josephine Chan (pictured) from executive director for Greater China to General Manager, Greater China.Both appointments are effective immediately.Gu has more than 13 years of multi-disciplinary experience in branding, corporate identity, brand identity, packaging, communication design and digital design. Prior to FutureBrand, Gu held senior positions at leading branding consultancies including Dragon Rouge, Interbrand and Brand Union, serving clients include Tsingtao, Alibaba, Huawei, Kraft, General Mills, Mercedes-Benz, Microsoft, Bank of China, Thomson Reuters and the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics.Chan, a 10-year veteran with FutureBrand, has managed and overseen large and complex assignments across the Greater China region, covering branding, strategic marketing, corporate identity and communications for multiple clients across Hong Kong and mainland China, including ANZ, Bank of China Hong Kong, Crown Macau, Swire Properties, China World Trade Centre, Yili, CLP, SF Express and New World China Land.
