FutureBrand lines up China leadership

FutureBrand is expanding its presence in China, beginning with a new lineup of leadership in the Hong Kong office. The Interpublic agency has made to key appointments to its business in Hong Kong and Southern China, hiring Lucien Harrington as managing director and Young Kim as executive director creative.Lucien brings more than fifteen years of marketing and branding experience following extended careers at both Disney and Turner Broadcasting. He joins from Turner Broadcasting Systems Asia Pacific where as vice president of marketing, branding and communications he launched new branded businesses and developed ways to use Turner’s brands.Joining in both a creative and leadership capacity is Young Kim, executive director creative. Young spent the last twelve years at Siegel+Gale, with ten years in New York and more recently serving as creative director in London.“Together, Lucien and Young will build FutureBrand’s reputation as a centre of excellence that willdeliver world class creativity for brands and businesses in Hong Kong,” said Sarah Reiter, president of FutureBrand Asia Pacific.Lucien and Young commenced their roles on 4 November.
