Friso Gold creates "Yes Experiment" for mums

Friso Gold has launched a campaign called 'The YES Experiment' to encourage mothers to say “yes” to their kids.  The campaign aims to promote positive parenting while emphasising the belief that experience is a child’s best teacher. The Yes Experiment is carried out by mothers for five weeks.The creative and media agencies for the campaign are JWT Malaysia and UM Malaysia respectively. Saatchi & Saatchi Arachnid Malaysia handles the digital account while Bridges PR manages PR for the campaign.This campaign features mini webisodes documenting two working mothers - Low Ngai Yuen and Liz Yahaya - transforming into "Yes" mums. The mothers are taking up the challenge of saying yes to their children’s requests, in situations where they usually would say no to. A microsite has been created for the webisodes.The campaign also comprises of mini contests such as the Mother’s Day contest, which ends on 12 May. The campaign carries a hashtag #SayYestoExperiences  so users can tag, share and find out more about the campaign using that hashtag.There will be subsequent mini contests throughout the campaign period on Facebook, with quizzes relating to the campaign.The campaign will run on digital mediums on Friso Gold Facebook and YouTube pages as well on the campaign's microsite. The campaign also runs in advertorials in magazines such as Jelita, Malaysian Women’s Weekly, Pa&Ma. The entire campaign will last for two months in May and June 2015.[embed]https://youtu.be/wGFDj2F9hxU[/embed]  Wong Vai Chi, marketing manager at Dutch Lady Milk Industries Malaysia said:  "While the word ‘Yes’ may be a simple word, its effect can be powerful, especially for children.  We encourage parents to say ‘yes' to exploring together with their children, which will also help create a stronger bond between parent and child."
