Circus Social’s Shalu Wasu joins Eleven Sports Network

Shalu Wasu has been appointed as the managing director of international sports media group Eleven Sports Network. He will replace Joyee Biswas and will report to group managing director, Danny Menken.Wasu recently stepped down as managing director at Circus Social, a social data analytics company he co-founded in 2012, which counts WPP Group as a partner and shareholder.Prior to establishing Circus Social, Wasu had worked in a number of senior roles across the IT, education, services, consumer electronics, advertising and data analytics industries, and has been based in Singapore since 2004.Commenting on Wasu's appointment, Meken said, “Wasu will help further expand the subscriber base and engage with more sports fans in Singapore. His experience will help ensure the network remains at the forefront of the sports media landscape."“I am excited to take on the role in the dynamic and fast moving network,” said Wasu. “The network has made remarkable progress in Singapore since its launch last year, and I look forward to helping it grow even further,” he added.
