Marketing recruitment firm Font builds up its regional team

Specialist marketing, digital and creative industry recruiter Font has made senior regional appointments to its team in a bid to drive the company’s growth across Asia.Priya Bala (pictured) has been promoted as regional director to lead the firm’s Asia Pacific expansion. As regional director, Bala – who has more than two decades’ experience in the sector – will spearhead Font’s business growth and development, managing key accounts, and overseeing marketing and branding strategies. Bala is also focused on hiring experts in marketing, digital and creative sectors to fill recruiter roles at Font.Previously, Bala served as country manager of font Malaysia. According to the company, in her role she tripled the size of the business and enabled 50% team growth in less than two years. Her responsibilities now extend to the management of Font’s Singapore, Hong Kong and Malaysia teams.In New Zealand, branding and communications specialist Megan Savory takes on the role of New Zealand country manager. With 15 years of industry and management experience, Savory will be in charge of font New Zealand’s business growth, key client relationships and the hiring and development of the internal team.Previously Savory has executed branding campaigns and developed content for several global brands including Caltex, Delo and Havoline in international markets at New Zealand firm Radiation.“Bala and Savory are ideal choices for Font’s leadership bench based on their industry experience and management know-how.
