Fitness First Singapore has retained its PR agency of record, AKA Asia for another year.
The agency was initially appointed for a period of five months in 2014 following a pitch and was tasked to raise the brand’s profile locally and capitalise on its sponsorship of reality TV series ‘Fit for Fashion’ through media relations. Following the retainer, the agency’s responsibilities are expanded to driving a deeper brand connection with Singapore’s athletes.
Sarah See, marketing manager at Fitness First Singapore said, “The agency is enthusiastic when it comes to identifying creative content opportunities to help Fitness First communicate its philosophy of making fitness a lifestyle.”
Kate O’Shea, partner at AKA Asia, said: “We were particularly excited to demonstrate our capability to Fitness First, both from a day‐to‐day networking and brand building perspective, but also providing Singapore’s premium fitness brand with longer term strategic counsel.”
Earlier this month, Fitness First appointed Maxus Singapore as its media agency. Maxus Singapore has confirmed the win to Singapore. The appointment is for the Singapore market and Maxus will be handling all aspects of media planning and buying for the brand.
