Fashion Walk sales increased by 39% by styling up in last year's Halloween

With Halloween just around the corner, a wave of branded frights once again hits the city.Jumping on the festival early is Fashion Walk, the indoor and outdoor shopping space, which started off the campaign "Halloween Styloween" today by holding parades and providing free makeovers for the visitors, transforming them into Zombies, Dracula and some other scary characters.Activities include D.I.Y workshops, parades and parties.Sylvia Lee, senior manager, central marketing at Hang Lung Properties Ltd, told Marketing that last year the shopping space achieved an increase of 39% in sales by holding Halloween-themed activities. Seeing more people enjoy dressing up in costumes and partying with friends on the special occasion, the hot spot looks to transform itself to another outdoor Halloween street party destination.
