Malaysia - Always wondered what it was like to be treated like a Dato'? Well Nando's Malaysia is here to satisfy that privileged treatment through out stomachs.It has introduced the new Butterfly Chicken Breast Meal campaign with the new Butterfly Chicken Breast product that comes with its own specially designed menu to give chicken-lovers a Dato'-like experience.Fanny Chai, regional marketing manager for Nando's Malaysia, explains that the product is not a traditional chicken on the bone meal, thus can only be enjoyed with a knife and fork."Although most of our customers do generally enjoy their ¼ PERi-PERi chicken meal with utensils, there are those who do prefer to use their hands to make clean work of their chicken. Given that this product is boneless, one must be on their best behaviour whilst dining and make good use of the utensils to savour their meal," Chai added.Going by a global campaign directive by its South African principal, Chai said that "the local campaign idea is to communicate the product by poking some fun at the upper-class being our Dato's, whom everyone can identify with in our communications."Available till 28 February, the campaign reaches out to the PMEBs in their 20's and 30's, and a few Dato's, through print ads, radio commercials, Facebook engagement and in-store promotions to drive sales and transaction growth.A lucky draw has also been launched whereby customers can participate till 10 February to win a Valentine's dinner fit for a Dato' and Datin.Creative Juice Kuala Lumpur was behind the creative aspect of the campaign.
