Facebook finds new APAC lead

Facebook has appointed Dan Neary (pictured) as VP of Asia Pacific starting early March. He will take over duties which were previously managed by Erik Johnson, who will be returning to the United States to take on another leadership role.Neary will lead the global marketing solutions teams across Asia Pacific and will play a key role in building and maintaining strategic relationships with top regional agencies and clients. He will be based in Singapore.He has had over two decades of experience, last working as VP and GM of global market development at Skype where he was focused on local marketing channels, development and management of market partnerships.Prior to that Neary was at eBay for about 10 years building and managing the company's businesses in South Asia, India, Middle East and Hong Kong.He will report directly to Carolyn Everson, VP of global marketing solutions who is currently based in London.Late last year,  Facebook has appointed Darin Williams who takes over from Stephen Dolan who exited the role in October.
