Gautam Dutt, former digital lead at Havas Media, has launched his own start-up called ‘Oplifi’. Oplifi’s founding members include co-founder Santosh Erram, who is also director and co-founder of digital agency Day Seven and Anup Kumar, partner, based in India.
Derived from a portmantheau of the words “open”, “liquid” and “fit”, the name Oplifi seeks to convey the accessibility and flexibility of the open platform.
It aims to build an interface to bring the entire work flow from briefing to showing results for online media campaigns on to a single interface.
“We want to bring the benefits of recent developments in digital media technologies to companies of all sizes. At the same time, we want to bring work flow automation and platform thinking in the media agency business which is currently very manual and haphazard” founder and CEO, Dutt said.
With Oplifi’s interface, businesses will be able to access various DSPs, paid social, mobile and video platforms to execute digital media amplification campaigns in a faster and easier manner. Through programmatic technology, brands will be able to service campaigns remotely.
Dutt (pictured) has 15 years of experience in the advertising and marketing industry across Asia Pacific. With work experience in both traditional and digital media, he has a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing digital media.
His last role was with Havas Media as the head of digital services for Singapore and Malaysia.
