EVA Air hands social media duties to Kingdom Digital

A+M understands EVA Air has picked Kingdom Digital to handle its social media account for its Malaysian market. The agency will be tasked to handle a few campaigns primarily for the Taiwanese airline’s Facebook page. This also marks the first time the two are working together.The first campaign is expected to launch in August to promote EVA Air’s Kuala Lumpur-United States route along with an online contest in giving out free tickets flying to US.The airline has been aggressive in growing its North America frequencies, and introducing Chicago into its network late last year. On that, it launched its digital marketing campaign "Check Into The Air" in August 2016 to inform consumers about its latest route to Chicago, and of its increased flight frequencies with 77 (from 43 flights in 2013)  flights a week to eight major North America cities that include Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto and Vancouver.Kingdom Digital was also recently appointed by Korean beauty brand Laneige Malaysia in early May to handle its digital and social media account following a competitive pitch held by the brand in December last year.
