Macau-based entertainment giant Suncity Group has handed Edipresse Asia the custom publishing contract for its new quarterly bilingual magazine First , slated to launch in December.
The first issue will have a print run of 30,000 copies and will be targeting high-net-worth individuals including CEOs, entrepreneurs, high-rollers and Suncity’s VIP club members.
With a heavy focus on luxury and business, the magazine will feature a mix of luxury lifestyle and finance content from interviews with people from the world of sport, business, entertainment and the arts.
Alvin Chau, CEO and director of Suncity Group, said the magazine is an extension of the brand’s philosophy of putting the interests of consumers as first priority.
Zita Ong, managing director of Edipresse Hong Kong and Macau, said the magazine is one more innovative plank in a strategy that has seen the group go from strength to strength.
“First also strengthens the Edipresse stable of publications in Macau, where we already publish Macau Tatler, and the Mercury Award-winning Cotai Style magazine on behalf of Sands China.”
Chris Wood, editor-in-chief of custom publishing at Edipresse, added First magazine is a different take on luxury lifestyle.
“It’s an edgy magazine with a street sensibility, reflecting the tastes, interests and aspirations of Suncity’s highly affluent VIP members,” he said in a statement.
