National Arts Council picks PRNational Arts Council has appointed Edelman to manage public relations for the Singapore Writers Festival (SWF) 2012. The contract starts from June until November this year and Edelman will carry out a communication strategy and PR programme across all media platforms. Starting from 7 July, CNBC will present a half-hour series "Access: Middle East" every fortnight. Titled ‘Tweet-a-Meet', the social media campaign allows a duo to turn their virtual connections into real ones by receiving ‘tweet miles' with every tweet they send containing information on their selected destination. The first three teams with the highest number of tweets at the end of the race will each win a pair of business class tickets to a Qatar Airways' destination of their choice.Singapore Arts Museum appoints Fulford PRFulford PR has been re-appointed agency of record for the Singapore Art Museum's for the third year running. Fulford PR previously worked on arts and cultural events such as Art Stage Singapore 2011, the 2011 Singapore Biennale, Singapore Writers Festival 2011 and the 2011 Asia Pacific Breweries Foundation signature Art Prize. Fulford's scope of work will include media and social media engagement activities for SAM's key showcases.Make your own HavaianasPopular flip flop brand Havaianas is turning 50 and for its celebrations its having a "Make Your Own Havaianas" day where customers can showcase their creativity by customising their very own Havaianas flip-flops at the event.The event will span across two days and the inaugural MYOH event in Singapore will be held at Takashimaya Shopping Centre from 14 to 15 July 2012.
