Edelman Hong Kong hires head of brand amid team restructuring

Edelman has appointed Annouchka Behrmann as head of brand for Hong Kong, effective immediately.

In her new role, Behrmann will lead the firm’s brand marketing team with responsibility for strengthening existing relationships as well as building new ones.

She is also tasked with accelerating Edelman’s communications marketing offer to clients, drawing on planning, creative, digital and production expertise to evolve, promote and protect the relationships brands hold with their audiences.

In a bid to build an integrated communications agency, Edelman Hong Kong has been recruiting talents from digital, advertising and media-buying backgrounds.

The firm is currently restructuring around two practice groups – brand and reputation, which are supported by capabilities in digital, creative, data and so forth.

In her previous role, Behrmann was managing director at MHP Communications in London, advising American Express, Unilever, BASF and L’Oréal.

Prior to MHP, she worked in both PR consultancies and advertising agencies, including Hill + Knowlton Strategies, DDB and Nelson Bostock.

Behrmann reports to Adrian Warr, managing director of Edelman Hong Kong.
