eBay appoints Jenny Hui as Hong Kong & Taiwan GM

Jenny Hui has now been promoted to general manager for eBay marketplace Hong Kong and Taiwan. She will report to John Lin, chief executive officer of eBay Greater China and vice president of eBay Inc.Hui will be responsible for managing eBay's cross-border trade in marketplace, as well as growing the gross merchandise volume and revenue for the Hong Kong and Taiwan business.She will also be tasked with developing new business opportunities to drive the success of eBay Hong Kong, the region which the company regarded as "the overall triumph of eBay’s APAC cross-border trade business", and to reinforce eBay with the image of a secure, trusted and reliable online platform to sellers and buyers in the region."We are delighted to have Jenny leading our cross-border trade business in Hong Kong and Taiwan," said Lin. "She has been a successful leader of the account management team in her previous role with eBay. With her extensive experience in business development, sales and marketing, I believe she will continue to drive eBay’s business success in Hong Kong and Taiwan.”Hui has more than 15 years’ experience across the IT, online and e-commerce industries. She first joined eBay as senior manager in seller management in 2012, leading a team of account managers in growing key accounts and large merchants for both Hong Kong and China cross border trade business.Before joining eBay, she was the country marketing manager for Hewlett-Packard APJ, enterprise server, storage and networking business unit, responsible for leading the Hong Kong marketing team. Prior to this, she held a business development role with Yahoo! and various sales and marketing positions with Microsoft.
