Discovery brings smiles to motoring buffs

Discovery Networks will launch a motoring channel Discovery Turbo later this month, replacing Discovery Real Time.Targeted at men 18 to 54 years old, Discovery Turbo is a channel dedicated to all sorts of vehicles - from cars, trucks and motorbikes to planes. The channel proposes to cover the history, science and engineering of everything motored including F1 racing and motoring trends."Discovery Turbo is an exciting addition to our portfolio of networks. Targeted at men who are passionate about speed and motors, the channel is a clear and unique proposition for our advertisers, providing them with a high-quality environment to reach out to this valuable audience," Tom Keaveny, EVP and MD, Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific, said.Discovery Turbo will be available in Singapore, Australia, Brunei, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Taiwan and Thailand from 22 September onwards.
