Production house Directors Think Tank (DTT) has signed Indonesian and Jakarta-based filmmaker Dewi Yantiyusup (pictured left) for global representation. Meanwhile, the company has also hired Jakarta-based senior producer Era Rahman and Nana Arshad as producer, who joins the Singapore office.According to DTT’s general manager Stephen Douglas, Yantiyusup has strong agency background, and has excelled as a senior art director working for agencies such as Leo Burnet and Lowe.Rahman (pictured right) is a well-known and much respected face around the Indonesian industry, said DTT in a press statement. Her wealth of experience and contacts will look towards enhancing the DTT brand in the region, the company added. In addition to Rahman, Nana Arshad joins the Singapore office as producer working alongside EP Pat Singh. Arshad has worked across both the agency and production company side of the industry and is known for her resourcefulness, commitment and creating smart solutions, the company said.“One of Yantiyusup’s many qualities is that she has a strong vision and feel for natural humour that translates to her work very well. Yantiyusup, Rahman and Arshad’s signing are our small steps towards DTT’s ongoing commitment to finding and growing talent throughout the region,” Douglas added.“I had reached a place in my career where my work needed a particular platform and I felt that DTT understood where I came from and where I want to go. I also felt that DTT’s reputation for collaboration and smart production was something that I very much wanted to be part of. These are also interesting times in the industry right now and we can no longer rest on doing the 15, 30, 45 sec ads alone,” Yantiyusup said.
