In this newly-created role, Kibe will be responsible for building the region’s center of excellence for influencer communications and creative integrated campaigns while enhancing the agency’s overall digital and social offering. He will report to Andres Vejarano, DeVries Global’s regional managing director, Asia. Kibe joins from Lewis Pulse where he managed digital operations for the APAC region. During his tenure, he was instrumental in the acquisition of the Peninsula Group Hotels, Porsche and Sabre accounts and also oversaw the day-to-day management of the agency’s BBC Earth and Invisalign accounts. Kibe has also worked for Universal Music Group where he managed the Disney Music repertoire and social media campaigns for artists including Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift and Gwen Stefani. “I am thrilled Roman has joined us at a time of exciting growth for our Asia operations,” said Vejarano. “His track record of understanding what clients need, his insights and experience in developing award winning campaigns, and Roman’s understanding of the dynamic social and influencer landscape across Asia, will bring creative and commercial benefit to our clients.”
