Desmond Chan rejoins Grey Group after 6 months

Desmond Chan has rejoined Grey Group as EVP, chief growth officer of Greater China, effective today.Chan will now be responsible for driving business growth across the Greater China region based on the services that Grey Group provides on all platforms.Chan was previously the chief operating officer of Digital Domain China. Joining Digital Domain in January this year, he was responsible for overseeing ongoing business operations within the company, and foster new business development in various areas like VR and interactive visual engagement."The knowledge I've acquired from Digital Domain China, including technology and digital integration, would add on to my branding experiences and network to help recognising new opportunities for the company," Chan told Marketing.Prior to his tenure in Digital Domain China, Chan was also the EVP, chief growth officer at Greater China in the Grey Group. He was with Grey for about a decade, and worked in various agencies including TBWA, Saatchi and Saatchi, BBDO and Publicis before that, managing several brand names such as China Mobile, Volvo Greater China, SmarTone-Vodafone, HSBC, Standard Chartered Bank, Bank of China (HK), UBS, AXA, Sun Hung Kai Properties, Canon, HP and GSK.
