dentsu X Singapore names creative head

dentsu X Singapore has appointed Joao Flores as head of creative, effective today. He will be responsible for evolving dentsu X’s creative media product in the region and will focus on coaching and developing creative talent within the business.Prior to the appointment, Flores was executive creative director at HorizonFCB Dubai, where he helped drive creative excellence across Middle East and North Africa. Before that he was creative director at Cheil Iberia. Marketing has reached out to Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN) for comment.Rosalynn Tay, CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network Singapore, said as the business continues to evolve and grow within the region, the agency will continue to shape its creative and leadership talent bench. This is to bring the best ideas to the table and to deliver greater business results for its clients.“Having worked closely with Flores in Dubai, he is of a rare breed of visionary creative leaders. Equal parts coach to creative and partner to clients, he truly seeks to understand what keeps CMOs or marketing heads up at night, and through his creative leadership, finds ways to deliver the best creative media solutions that help our clients win,” Phil Adrien, general manager of dentsu X Singapore, said.DAN most recently hired Sanjay Bhasin as CEO of DAN Indochina. Prior to the role, Bhasin was CEO Y&R Southeast Asia and Thailand. The role is newly created and will see him reporting to Dick van Motman, CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network Southeast Asia. The appointment will be effective January next year.The network also  appointed Duncan Pointer to the role of CEO of Vizeum Asia Pacific, while Kristian Barnes assumes the newly created role of regional chief client officer for DAN. Both report to Nick Waters, CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network Asia Pacific.
