Dentsu Sports Asia to manage Joseph Schooling as commercial partner

The Schooling Company has appointed Dentsu Sports Asia (DSA) as the commercial partner for Joseph Schooling for the next stage of the swimmer's career after turning professional.Following the appointment, DSA will work to assist Schooling in a variety of areas in his journey as a professional swimmer. This include advertising and managing commercial and strategic opportunities, advising on the training facilities prior to the swimmer’s major competitions and developing Schooling’s social responsibility initiatives throughout the region among others.According to May Schooling, mother of Joseph Schooling and founder of the Schooling Company, DSA's extensive expertise and experience in the sports industry is key in helping Schooling grow as a professional athlete in the region.“We are honoured to work with Joseph and his family. He is truly an inspirational athlete and we are excited to help bring out his full potential as he grows to be an athlete that can proudly represent Singapore.” said Kunihito Morimura, CEO and president of DSA.Schooling first rose to national prominence after winning the gold at the 2011 Southeast Asian Games.
