Dentsu Aegis Network Singapore has partnered with President’s Challenge to present the ‘Gift of Art’ to over 600 beneficiaries for its “One Day for Change Committed” initiative.A 364-strong brigade of volunteers from Dentsu Aegis Network agencies in Singapore came together to cultivate creative and artistic skills within the organisation to help the less fortunate through art-related activities across the island. Art was chosen as a medium to connect and engage with the beneficiaries, with the ultimate aim to bring them joy and encouragement to them.Charitable organisations that benefited from Dentsu Aegis Network’s contributions include PERTAPIS Children’s Home, Christian Outreach to the Handicapped (COH), the Peacehaven Nursing Home as well as NTUC Eldercare centres at two locations on the island.Take a look:[gallery link="file" ids="57209,57210,57211"]These efforts are a part of the Dentsu Aegis Network’s "One Day for Change" initiative, where over 9,000 staff across the Asia Pacific region have the opportunity to give one day of their time to support a cause or charity of their choice.Nick Waters, CEO Dentsu Aegis Network Asia Pacific said: “The creation of One Day for Change in Asia Pacific is a unified approach for our group to contribute something back to the societies within which we all earn a living. It is only the contribution of one day out of our lives, but if that contribution can make a positive difference to people who rely on the support of others, then we can take heart. I hope this is just the beginning.”
