Dentsu Aegis Network acquires Taiwanese digital performance agency WIS

Dentsu Aegis Network has announced the acquisition of WIS Performance Media, a digital search and performance agency in Taiwan.

WIS will become part of Dentsu Aegis Network’s performance agency iProspect in Taiwan and will jointly be known as iProspect WIS.

The acquisition aims to double iProspect’s scale in the market and further strengthen the network’s foothold as the largest international media, digital and creative communications group in Taiwan.

Joining the iProspect WIS leadership team is Simon Wu, founder and general manager of WIS, who will be responsible for client development and overall business strategy and planning. Wu will report to Carrie Tsai, iProspect’s managing director.

“The opportunity for WIS to join forces with iProspect Taiwan came at the perfect time and we are very excited to be part of a global network that has the resources, advanced tools and latest industry best practices to scale our operations internationally,” Wu said.
