DDB lands Carol Lam for chief creative and MD role

DDB Group Hong Kong has named respected creative leader Carol Lam as chief creative officer and managing director.Lam comes to DDB from Saatchi & Saatchi South China, where she was CCO and managing partner, based in Hong Kong, she will start at the agency from late February.Prior to Saatchi's, she spent five years in China with McCann Shanghai as CCO and managing director, and a stint with TBWA Shanghai as ECD.Reporting to DDB Asia CEO David Tang, Lam will have a brief to elevate the agency’s delivery of creative excellence, while driving its growth agenda.“Carol is a top-class creative star – full of passion and imagination – and a great people leader," Tang said."She has shaped great talents, produced award-winning work and now gets to run one of our best agencies.
