DDB has promoted creative director of regional business Jeffry Gamble to a newly created position as group creative director based in Hong Kong.
In his new role, Gamble will continue to work on key regional clients such as McDonald’s and Lipton as well as assist Ruth Lee, chief creative officer to manage the creative department of the Hong Kong office.
“Jeffry is well-respected by his clients and loved by his teammates for his leadership and passion – he is the cornerstone of the creative department and a rare gem in the creative circle”, Lee said. She added that his management and insight into the McDonald’s business has resulted in a great body of effective creative work that continues to win the agency Effies.
Gamble joined DDB from Grey eight years ago as senior copywriter and was promoted to regional creative director in 2007. He has worked on multinational clients such as Philips, Liptons and McDonald’s. Before Grey, he was at McCann Erickson.
