Cunard Cruise Line partners with Burson-Marsteller Shanghai

Burson-Marsteller has been selected as the brand communications partner in China for Cunard, operator of the luxury ocean liners Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth.Led from Shanghai, Burson-Marsteller will work with Cunard providing strategic communications and brand marketing support.“As we further our commitment to the cruise market in China and welcome more travellers on board with Cunard, we believe Burson-Marsteller will be an excellent partner moving forward.” said David Rousham, international development director of Cunard.“We are very excited by the arrival of Cunard in China,” said Candice Yeo, market leader and managing director of Burson-Marsteller Shanghai. “Burson-Marsteller has a strong track record in serving travel and tourism clients, including Princess Cruises and Asia Miles, looking to expand and grow in the China market.”Cunard turned to Burson-Marsteller to welcome Queen Elizabeth and flagship Queen Mary 2 to Shanghai in March, as part of the 2016 World Cruise programme. In March 2017, following an extensive dry dock refurbishment to refresh the guest interior spaces and launch new innovations, Queen Mary 2 will operate a seven-night roundtrip Shanghai sailing.
