Content marketing agency Immedia has appointed Richard Jones as chief operations officer and partner. He was most recently in charge of running commercial operations for Isentia Strategy and Content, which the recently closed King Content used to sit under.
Jones has around 20 years experience with Ernst & Young, Boots the Chemist and SoftBank, creating and implementing businesses across APAC and EMEA.
The appointment comes after the appointment of Peter Bakker (pictured) in January this year, who was named the MD of Immedia. Following the move, Bakker was tasked with managing Immedia’s business and portfolio, while being based in Singapore. Prior to the appointment, Bakker was King Content’s commercial director, where he was in charge of leading profit and loss and operations between 2010 and 2016.
According to the press release, Immedia will assist companies with their content and strategy, as well as build its own client portfolio. Clients on its portfolio include HP, Mundipharma, Azteq Ventures (GTech AirRam), TraxRetail, Sunway Group, Asian Golf Industry Federation and Sansan.
“Content marketing continues to remain more relevant than ever in Asia. We have already signed up companies in Singapore and Malaysia and are looking to grow regionally,” said Peter Bakker, managing director of Immedia.
