Club Med gets a new visual identity

Hotel and resort brand Club Med has worked with global consultancy firm Brandimage to unveil a new visual identity for Club Med. This is in line with ClubMed’s refurbishment program to widen its international audience.Brandimage has created a simplified branding system for all commercial and corporate communication, Village signage, digital applications and social media for Club Med.The font designed by the agency for the logo 10 years ago is now a full proprietary alphabet accompanying every message for the hotel's communication initiatives. The brand's iconic emblem, the Trident, is revived with new wording scheme to support the brand's visuals and messages for all general public and corporate communication.Meanwhile, the colour palette of "Bleu étoilé" was chosen to refresh Club Med’s identity and convey happy emotions at Club Med destinations. The Happiness typeface has now been developed as a full proprietary alphabet exclusively for Club Med.Brandimage has also helped Club Med develop a custom-made style as signature for outgoing messages. A customised illustrative symbol was built on an image and text composition for all points of contact going forward. Meanwhile an online graphic guideline was also created to provide details of all the design applications so that the brand can consistently roll out new initiatives with the revamped visual identity.Brandimage has been working with Club Med for 10 years on its branding projects. The collaboration was renewed in 2014 with the overhaul of the brand's entire visual territory.
