Club Med has appointed W Asia following a pitch for an ongoing brief to promote the brand in Singapore. This is with a focus on establishing Club Med as a global leader in snow holidays. The agency will also drive awareness for Club Med’s key resorts in Southeast Asia. This includes Bintan Island & Bali in Indonesia, Cherating Beach in Malaysia and Phuket in Thailand Рas well as the luxury Resorts and Villas in Maldives and Mauritius Island.
The agency is also tasked with helping the brand reinforce its positioning as a worldwide leader in ‚Äėpremium all inclusive‚Äô holidays for families and active couples. This will include the launch of the new Club Med Tomamu Hokkaido Resort in Japan, and continued storytelling for Club Med Sahoro Hokkaido and other Ski Resorts across the globe, from China to the Alps, according to a press statement.
The win also further cements W Asia’s travel division, which includes Bawah Island in the Indonesian Anambas, Princess Yachts Southeast Asia and Bali’s Ulu Cliffhouse.
‚ÄúWe‚Äôre very happy to be working with W. We felt that they really understood the Club Med brand and can combine their creative thinking with our ambitions to grow the brand in the region,‚ÄĚ Marie-Ange Georgin-Selman, marketing manager Singapore and Malaysia at Club Med, said.
‚ÄúWe are hugely excited to be working with Club Med.¬† It is a truly iconic brand that continues to innovate and lead the market with its unique ‚Äėpremium all-inclusive‚Äô positioning,‚ÄĚ Annabel Fox, managing director of W Asia, said.
In June, Club Med appointed Right Hook Communications to develop its¬†public relations strategies for Thailand, Indonesia and Japan. The agency was responsible for building Club Med into a brand synonymous with creating¬†experiences in line with its mission ‚ÄúAmazing You‚ÄĚ.
