Twitter’s regional content lead (APAC, MENA, Greater China, Russia) Christel Quek has exited Twitter after close to two years at the social network.
Today is Quek’s last day, Marketing understands. She joined Twitter in 2013, with a focus on content development and strategy. She reported to Frederique Covington, Twitter’s international chief marketing officer.
Quek joined Twitter after she was retrenched by the then new regional leadership at Samsung, along with several other marketing executives such as regional digital lead Damien Cummings.
Quek told Marketing that she would be moving on to work on opportunities in the tech space, but did not comment further. Marketing has reached out to Twitter for updates on her replacement.
