Chhan leaves Maxus for Dentsu

Nicholas Chhan, digital director of Maxus Hong Kong, has left the agency to head to Dentsu Singapore as digital media director.In the new role, he is responsible to create and evangelise the agency's digital product offerings and to work within the network and media partners.Chhan joins the agency from Maxus Hong Kong, where he was working to build and develop the digital arm.Prior to Maxus, he was part of the digital team at Starcom MediaVest Group Malaysia, where he built up the search and social competency of the agency.“Hong Kong is an exciting and booming market for digital,” Chhan told Marketing.“However, when Dentsu approached me and showed me their present plans and future endeavours as a truly integrated agency, it won me over."“Dentsu is an integrated agency that covers multiple verticals of the industry. With a decade of experience in production and marketing, I’m able to create value in the ecosystem – both internally and externally.”He added that the Singapore team is looking for an expansion and new hires in the coming months.
