Cheil Worldwide president and CEO resigns

Cheil Worldwide has elevated Jeongkeun Yoo to the president and CEO role as former president and CEO Daiki Lim expressed his decision to resign.Lim revealed his decision to resign through prior consultation with the board members and recommended his successor.Lim, who began his career with Samsung in 1981, was named president and CEO at Cheil in 2012. Yoo has worked at Cheil for three decades and was formerly executive vice president. He joined the agency in 1987 as an account executive.Cheil was founded in 1973 as Samsung’s in-house marketing unit. In a statement, Cheil said the network Yoo has built within the industry will help the company to grow into world-class advertising agency.
