Local budget carrier Cebu Pacific has recently hired Nik Laming as its new general manager for loyalty.Starting this month, Laming (pictured) will be relocated from Singapore to Manila to work on relationship and loyalty marketing for Cebu Pacific. The appointment follows Cebu Pacific’s recent acquisition of Singapore’s Tiger Airways for $15-million. As expected, the tie-up calls for a need to beef up its sales and marketing muscle to effectively respond to their combined fleet churning around 2,300 flights a week.As seen in Jobstreet Philippines, Cebu Pacific is looking for key roles since the buy-out took place last 8 January.  Among the open roles are marketing director, data analytics director and a business analyst that will be responsible for “business modeling for the loyalty program.”Laming specializes in loyalty marketing and was the senior vice president for Asia Pacific for Aimia prior to Cebu Pacific. He had the role for two years from October 2011 to December 2013.
