Carrefour picks BBDO Indonesia

Carrefour has appointed BBDO Indonesia as its creative duties in the Indonesian market. Owned and operated by the PT. Trans Retail Indonesia, Carrefour is one of the largest hypermarket retail chains in Indonesia.The pitch was for both creative and media. Partnering with media PHD, an Omnicom Media Group agency, BBDO won the account against several other advertising agencies, both local and multinational.Indira Manoppo, the sr. marketing comm manager at Trans Retail Indonesia added: “BBDO knows our consumer, and their ideas were fresh and innovative. Retail advertising isn’t easy, but BBDO with Hub+, the dedicated design and production arm, also Proximity, the activation and digital partner, showed us that they have it well under control. ”Ricky Subrata, CEO, BBDO Indonesia also added: “Winning Carrefour is a great start to the year. It’s a welcome addition to our client list, which includes some of the largest local accounts in Indonesia such as BCA, Gudang Garam and Sinar Mas Land, as well as multinational blue-chip accounts like J&J, Fonterra, Mars, and Mercedes-Benz.”
