Kevin Walsh has been appointed as chief digital officer for Carat Asia Pacific, a move from within the network. Clay Schouest, head of strategy and innovation from Shanghai has also been relocated to the head office in Singapore.

“Kevin has a vast amount of experience in digital having experienced first-hand the development of the digital media industry over the last decade. Clay is a pragmatic innovator, a creative mind with strategy at its core. I have no doubt that these two additions to the regional team here in Singapore will take great steps to redefine media and push the boundaries to create effective and innovative work for our clients,” said O’Brien.
Walsh has been working in the media industry for over 20 years. He spent 14 years in Australia as executive media director of agency NetX. He then went on to open Neo@Ogilvy in Sydney and Melbourne as managing director for the company. In 2010 he moved to iProspect and became managing director of Australia before being promoted to the role of managing director for Asia Pacific.
Over the past 16 years Schouest has worked with top clients such as Coca-Cola and Unilever supporting them on comms planning and strategic guidance.
