Loving Eyes- Toyota Safety Sense
Making a case for the car’s safety features, this Toyota ad traces the seemingly ordinary on-the-road moments between father and daughter. The ad cleverly mimics a home video montage for extra nostalgic appeal.
This Dove commercial piggybacks on its #RealStrength campaign and features clips of real fathers-to-be reacting to news of their wives’ pregnancy. Cue the waterworks.
Learning to Hug-Fairy Non Bio
Who knew detergent ads could get so emotional? This commercial tells story of a father and son pair which drifted apart over the years. They finally sit and confront this unwanted distance and quite simply, hug it out. At the end of the day, Fairy Non Bio wants you to #NeverStopHugging.
Budget airline Scoot wants you to gift your father with something out of the ordinary – a plane ticket, a Scoot plane ticket to be exact. Promotions accompany this guilt-trip.
