Where were you on 21st of October? As Back to the Future Day fans were busy celebrating on the auspicious date, these brands have also jumped on the bandwagon, rallying excitement for the long-awaited date.
Here are the brands that scored with their timely marketing, toasting their brands with a nod to Marty and Doc.
The Japanese automaker reunites Doc and Marty for a discussion, and ensuing presentation, on the future of automobiles as well as the environment. Titled ‘Fueled by the Future’, the video spot demonstrates how trash gets turned into fuel for a car, specifically, a Toyota Mirai car.

2. Mercedes Benz
Another automobile brand Mercedes Benz released a series of video spots on its YouTube channel to wish everyone a “Happy Back to the Future Day”. Meanwhile, Nike got a special shoutout from Marty himself who was gifted with a new pair of kicks to commemorate his double existence on the date.

Nike designer Tinker Hatfield even wrote a special note to Michael J. Fox, the actor who played Marty, and it received over 20,000 retweets in a matter of hours.

Beverage company Pepsi launched limited edition Pepsi Perfect bottles to celebrate the date. The ads show how you can be a part of “The Perfect Ride” when you drink from one of its bottles.
