Strategy and creative brand content agency ZORBA has unveiled its new office in Singapore, with Sandra Hassler (pictured), GM, ZORBA Asia, leading the team.
The agency chose to launch in Singapore as it was targeting a location that would help boost the capabilities of its science, technology and innovation-driven brand content arm, ZORBA LifeSciences. Hassler is also responsible for building ZORBA LifeSciences globally and in local markets.
In a statement to Marketing, Hassler said the agency is pitching for local clients and also aims to help global clients penetrate the local market. While the agency intends to launch in the US, Hassler said it will focus on strengthening operations in Asia and Europe for now. ZORBA works with clients from various industries such as cosmetics, luxury, FMCG and automotive, and among the list include Merck, Lancome, Unilever, Vichy, Guerlain and Dior.
According to Hassler, some of ZORBA’s closest competitors are 4A’s agencies and those specialising in healthcare such as Razorfish. Besides Singapore, ZORBA also has offices in Shanghai and Paris, and all three form ZORBA Group. ZORBA aims to customise strategy and content for brand stories, user engagement and experience. ZORBA LifeSciences aims to make complex messages simple and accessible.
