BottlesXO Singapore appoints head of marketing

BottlesXO Singapore, a wine and beer delivery mobile app, has appointed Mary Arumeidas to the newly created role of head of marketing. Arumeidas will oversee and support the implementation of its marketing, strategic goals and brand positioning. She reports to general manager of BottlesXO Singapore Lukasz Piotrowski.Prior to her latest role, Arumeidas (pictured) worked at SO Sofitel Singapore for more than a year, with her last position being senior social and business development manager. During her time there, she was responsible for social event management, as well as conceptualisation, music curation, promotions, acquiring sponsorships and tie-ups with alcohol brands such as Belvedere, Taittinger and Hendricks. The HI-SO Rooftop Pool Party series was her main project.Before moving on to SO Sofitel Singapore, Arumeidas was an account manager at Clear Channel Singapore for a year, where she was responsible for revenue generation and establishing relationships with clients and agencies. Prior to joining Clear Channel, she was the marketing communications manager at TAB SG, where she was tasked with event acquisition, planning and execution of events, as well as acquiring sponsorships and tie-ups.Arumeidas was also responsible for conceptualising, designing and executing all marketing promotions and campaigns. Additionally, she carried out social media marketing management on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. She also worked at TAB SG and St James Holdings.According to Arumeidas, all marketing efforts are currently handled internally while BottlesXO sources for an agency that best fits its brand markers. She added that the company is enhancing communication with its consumers through in-app promotions and branded events, while promoting itself as part of a new, modern lifestyle and culture.
