Bloomberg Media names new global chief creative officer

Bloomberg Media has appointed Teddy Lynn to the role of chief creative officer. Lynn will report to Bloomberg Media COO Jacki Kelley. The role will be effective early next year and Lynn will be based in New York.Lynn, who most recently served as Ogilvy & Mather’s North American chief creative officer of content & social, will be responsible for leading Bloomberg Media’s global creative team, which develops and creates custom executions for brands desiring to reach a premium audience.His team will include creatives, editors, copywriters, designers and producers who build campaigns and experiences for brands that support Bloomberg Media’s advertising and marketing services initiatives. His remit will also include defining and sourcing feature content to expand Bloomberg Media’s influence, reach and revenue."As we close out the year with expected strong revenue growth, in 2017 we are launching ambitious plans to expand our creative, marketing services and custom content capabilities," said Bloomberg Media CEO Justin B. Smith."Teddy is unique in his ability to strategically connect with an audience through compelling content," said Kelley. "His varied background – which includes producing award-winning films, television and advertising as well having worked at Morgan Stanley – illustrates his ability to use powerful storytelling to drive business results.
