BlisMedia opens up Dubai office

Global location data company BlisMedia has opened up its office in Dubai as part of the company’s rapid international expansion plans. Blis’ foray into the Middle East follows its recent office openings in Hong Kong and Australasia earlier this year, and key executive hires across the globe.The Dubai operations will be headed up by Puja Pannum, managing director, Middle East, BlisMedia. Pannum has worked in digital media since 2000, initially at MSN-Microsoft in London for eight years, then as group head AOL Inside Sales Team in the UK, before re-locating to Dubai after being approached by Yahoo Middle East to become UAE country manager.Pannum will spearhead regional business development by introducing Blis’ leading data-driven advertising technology to global Dubai-based media agencies servicing brands in the Middle East. She will report to Paul Thompson, vice president EMEA for Blis, who oversees the company’s regional sales operations and strategy.“Dubai is a strategic choice for Blis’ international expansion roadmap, and our market entry is bolstered by the addition of Puja, one of the top media experts in the region,” Harry Dewhirst (pictured), president of BlisMedia said“Establishing operations in Dubai, the region’s major media and commercial hub, ensures we are well positioned to engage top media agencies to strategise, execute and provide in-depth consultation for on-ground campaigns,” added Dewhirst.Blis will be reaching out to major Dubai-based media agencies that facilitate ad buying throughout Middle East and North Africa. Blis’ services enable smart, location data-driven media buying and audience targeting and with the launch, the company’s full suite of services and proprietary technology is available to clients in the Middle East.
