Big Mobile expands in the Philippines

Australian privately owned mobile advertising specialist, Big Mobile, has today announced expansion into the Philippines with Jay Ramirez – formerly Country Sales Director at Mode Media and Marketing Manager at Groupon – appointed Head of Sales, to be based in the new Manila office.Ramirez, a media veteran with over ten years’ experience, will bring Big Mobile’s advertising technology, products and creative rich media expertise into the Philippines market, adding to their existing Southeast Asian hubs in Singapore and Indonesia, and increasing staff headcount across the region to twenty-six.According to research by IAB and We Are Social, the Philippines is a growing mobile-first market, with an 82% year-on-year increase in the share of mobile web traffic.
