Charlotte Tilbury has announced plans to flag up a presence in Asia in Summer 2018, starting in Hong Kong at Lane Crawford.
The 3-year-old British-based beauty brand currently has one store outside of the U.K – a two-storey Beauty Wonderland in Kuwait. Founder and celebrity make-up artist Charlotte Tilbury explained in a release that the brand had seen “huge demand already from a loyal base of customers” in Asia, and Lane Crawford’s chief brand officer Joanna Gunn added that the brand would extend its presence in Hong Kong in stores and through the online platform.
Tilbury has been at the forefront of the makeup industry for over 25 years, working with A-list models, celebrities and designers such as Penelope Cruz, Kim Kardashian West, Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Amal Clooney, Cara Delevingne, and Jennifer Aniston, among others, and has since launched her own make-up brand.
Marketing has learned that Plug Communications is responsible for the beauty brand’s communication business in Hong Kong.
