Management rejig at BBDO Beijing

BBDO China has revealed a new leadership structure that will see its Beijing office run by a team of three senior leaders.Koo Yeat Mung has been promoted from general manager to co-managing director.She will lead the office with industry veteran Raul Villegas, who has been appointed as co-managing director. Koo and Villegas are joined by Arthur Tsang, executive creative director, who relocated from BBDO’s South China region a year ago.Koo will continue to lead the business for Mars, HP and Meng Niu, while Villegas will be responsible for overseeing BBDO’s relationship with Mercedes-Benz in China. Tsang will lead and oversee all the agency’s creative work. Koo and Villegas will report directly to Carol Potter, president and CEO, BBDO Greater China.“We owe much of our success at BBDO/Proximity to our stable and united management team,” said Potter.“All three bring great strength and depth to that team. We congratulate Koo and Arthur and are delighted to welcome Raul.”Koo joined BBDO in 2011 as general manager. She has 16 years of advertising experience in building meaningful brands such as Adidas, Visa, Absolute, McDonalds, Skittles and Centrum.
