The agency has promoted Singapore business director Patrick Leclercq (pictured) to regional client services director, and appointed Justine Tabone as regional operations director. Both report to Bates CHI&Partners CEO David Mayo.“I see a great many agencies in Asia chase new business to the detriment of their existing clients,” said David Mayo."Working closely with the local managing directors, business and finance directors, Patrick and Justine’s roles are crucial to ensuring that we actively nurture and grow our existing client relationships and their businesses, and that we have a deep understanding of their operating environment, that we are developing strategies and campaigns which build on that understanding and that we are paid accordingly,” he added. As regional client services director, Leclercq will help build the Bates CHI&Partners collaborative business model by bringing together the right people and skills around the table to generate the best briefs for the best clients. Starting as an account executive at JWT London and developing branded content properties at MEC in New York, he led integrated campaigns for IBM at Ogilvy New York as partner, marketing director, before moving to Singapore in 2011.Tabone will be a key partner to the agency leaders as regional operations director tasked with developing the agency’s commercial relationships at all levels.Tabone combines her new appointment with her current role at Ogilvy & Mather Singapore, as operations director. Justine joined Singleton, Ogilvy and Mather, in Sydney, Australia, in 2004 as Operations Analyst on the IBM Account.
